Magically Lovely

While I am not a fan of animal print tights, I do think this bell shaped skirt is super fun. The pink ribbon belt is a lovely contrast and would be totally simple to do yourself. Plus the booties are always a great addition to short skirts- ESPECIALLy if you have thin or long legs.

Casual Inspiration

This i think is the best way to overlap styles. Got a little 80 with acid wash, some 70s with the jacket some 90s with the torn jeans, 00s with the perfect skinny jeans. I mean mix and match it. Plus love the little Asian doll for her daughter. Nice touch to spread cultural instead of just ur normal cabbage patch.

Prepare yourself for 1996- the Crop is back

I was receiving my lovely email from Urban Outfitters when I realized- gasp...the crop top is back in. Wasn't this boxy and slightly awkward? like- all about showing your belly button off in a shirt that isn't skin tight? Like shirts your parents must accept but don't want to? I first heard of the return from Sub Urban Riot- but i disbelieved. Now I am officially proven wrong, and believe I have traveled back in time to my sisters juniorhigh wardrobe.

Rock and Republic has created a lower price point line of clothes that correctly identifies itself. Each piece- shoe, shirt, pants, etc is labeled, with what it is. Magritte himself would be impressed at their accurate labeling- because it is indeed- a stiletto.

Obesity and Speed

Obesity and Speed- two contrasting idea- one great line. which really has nothing to do with obesity and maybe the only connection to speed is that if u do alot of speed u may be skinny and love their extra skinny jeans. A line for girls that like the skinny skinny legs on bottom and loose flowy rocker stuff on top. Gotta love the loose hood/cape/blanket shirt thing with a leopard black and gray pattern. Now I personally love this look- but isn't it kind of out of the trendy section? I mean I was watching a Sex and the City episode and carrie was wearing a pearl layered necklace. Times have moved on a bit. It's beautiful don't get me wrong- but maybe not red carpet style any more.
