Leighton Meester obviously thought she should try out for My So Called Life. At the Proenza Schouler fashion show, Leighton was looking very out dated. Cher would probably be proud of her cropped top style and Ty look alike appearance. I wish I could just continue to make 90s references, like Will Smith would probably have cast her as a ULA student on Fresh Prince. okay ill stop.

I love the Leighton always takes chances though. You can't be a total fashion success without being a victim every once in awhile. Maybe next time a Blossom hat?

Nicole Tries it A New Look

I LOVE this nicole richie photo from InStyle UK. It is so NOT what we have been seeing of nicole at all. Like this new look is so perfect for her because a. its a magazine so they should change her from the norm and b. we have seen her in enough boho. I also love that its not obsessing ab any of the current trends. In fact they are only hitting on sheering with the boots and crossing that against the lace texture. Je Adore. A plus.

Well really does it matter? They are circus outfits- we aren't going to see some chick wearing this down the street. It's a costume. Someone should call Reese so she can wear it in her upcoming film Water for Elephants or maybe Britney is sad she missed out during her Circus tour. I hope they soon start comparing school mascot costumes- like who has a better Bear Mascot- Berkeley or UCLA

Two Pieces I am Craving

So these are completely unrelated- but I totally want both of them. The first is a J Crew bra

Now I realize that it is just a basic black bra- but i love the very slight sweet sexiness. My absolute favorite part is the thick band underneath the regular cups- so if you were wearing it with a slightly sheer shirt- it would be little bit more covered and a little bit more interesting. I think its fantastic.

I rarely want other people's jewelry. And I am a little over the cliche snake motif but this is so good who can resist this amazing triple finger ring!

That is just too good- and alot of work for someone to carve out before casting. Plus at least you know snakes will always be in jewelry. so its a life time piece- obvs.

Leopard Real Way

Leopard has been all over the runways...like this very over the top Lavin Fall 2010 ensamble

or on celebs, like miss mk olsen...

but i just don't see this trend being super huge in the every day. In fact if you want to do it may I suggest ballet flats, or a thin belt, or even a head band. For the realllllly brave i suppose you could do a jacket- but even that i would do a short hits you at the hip jacket, not a long coat. I went even more subtle with just a key chain- i know, very unbrave of me.
